The APEKS XTX 200 controller is the flagship of the XTX line of English Apeks controls. Impeccable style and functioning. The quality of the product is also guaranteed by the coating: polished silver chrome plating.

All models of the XTX series are shipped from the Apeks factory in a standard right-hand assembly when the hose is on the right. However, the controller XTX200, like the other models of the regulators in this series, can be converted for use with the left hand. This feature is called the bilateral Venturi system (RVS - Reversible Venturi System). Converting the regulator to the left hand can be done quickly and without much difficulty at any authorized Apeks service center.

The XTX200 regulator has a new quality - the system is replaced by the diver of the exhalation valves (DCE - Diver Changeable Exhausts system). This system allows the diver to replace the small outlet T-shaped outlet valve to a large one. Thus, depending on the needs, the diver can choose either a wider valve to maximize bubbles (for example, during underwater shooting) or a narrower valve that makes it possible to make the regulator more compact (which is ideal for traveling or for using this regulator as an octopus). The valves are made of durable but lightweight material, which is a significant advantage in diving. The XTX100 and XTX50 models also have the DCE system. Models "XTX40" and "XTX20" are supplied as standard with one valve.

The regulator is equipped with a front cover of a new design made with the use of high-strength plastic, which significantly increases the longevity of the most vulnerable part of the air supply valve, while a metal insert, galvanically coated with chromium, pleasant to the eye and touch, indicates that this regulator belongs to high-end models . Using a new open design of the purge button made it possible to make it self-cleaning, which made it possible to prevent the accumulation of contaminants of various kinds. That is, a new purge button has improved the purge process itself.

For the XTX200, an ergonomic new-design venturi was developed that reduces the ingress of sand into the device. Plus, the Venturi lever is supplemented by a ratchet mechanism, the work of which can be traced both to the touch and to the ear. Also in the regulator XTX200 a new-design exhaust valve is used, improving the respiratory characteristics of the regulator.

I would also like to add that for an additional fee the regulator can be equipped with a swivel unit of a new design for hose connection. This allows the second stage of the regulator to rotate and rotate, which makes the regulator more convenient to use.
