On the one hand, the course Rescue Diver brings you closer to the highest level of the diver-lover PADI, on the other hand it is an important, responsible and very interesting course that is aimed at the ability to make the right decisions under water.

Rescue Diver - this course involves learning the skills of rescuing people / divers both on the surface and under water. Together with the course Emergency First Response, the philosophy of the course Rescue Diver provides the knowledge that must be used in emergency situations. The concept of the course reads: "There is no one true solution in any given situation," - the application of knowledge and skills by a rescuing diver will depend on many factors, and, specifically, the rescuer-diver has the task and responsibility to choose the best method of salvation.

The course does not have a strict number of necessary dives, there are a number of rescue skills that are worked out in ten exercises, and then fixed by two scenarios of rescue in open water. The instructors of our club pay attention to the automation of the application of skills, so we always start working off the pool and fix them in open water. In addition, it is necessary to pass the theory, perform test works from the textbook and successfully pass the exam.

This course examines options for helping a tired or panicking diver on the surface, assisting a diver without air under the water, lifting a diver unconscious to the surface, performing artificially breathing on the surface while towing and removing equipment. The task is to prevent the negative consequences in the current situation as much as necessary, to help the diver to rise to the surface and provide feasible first aid.

This course assumes that you become a more responsible diver and underwater pay attention not only to yourself, but also to your teammates. Do not be surprised if the Divemaster or the instructor will ask you to help watch during the dive for a less experienced diver. Mutual help in diving is the basis for getting bright emotions during diving. During the dive, if one of the divers is experiencing anxiety or embarrassment, this will not be a "single diver problem" - this problem will be of a group nature, so try to anticipate and solve possible nuances on the shore. To register for the Rescue Diver course, you must have an AOWD certificate (or similar to it from other associations), and before completing the course, take the medical course Emergency First Response
