Apeks Flight Controller
The Flight regulator is designed primarily for a diver-traveler. The lightest and compactest controller ever produced by Apeks. But at the same time, thanks to the latest insulating technology and durable materials, Flight makes it possible to use in relatively cold water (up to 10 ° C). Problem nodes, the first stage, where the freezing process usually begins, is carefully isolated, preventing the effect of formation. The same insulating effect is applied to the 2nd stage Flight.
Balanced diaphragm of the first stage
The first stage lowers the high cylinder pressure to an optimum intermediate pressure of 9-10 bar. After that, the gas flows through the medium pressure hose to the 2nd stage. The 1st stage of the new regulator, thanks to the adjustable balanced membrane, allows precise and automatic adjustment of the intermediate pressure during the dive depending on the depth. To maintain the balance, the intermediate pressure increases as the depth increases, as a result, the pressure on the primary diaphragm also increases.
Bubble removal
The new T-shaped exhaust gas removal system, made of elastic high-tech rubber, fits comfortably to the second-stage casing. The retraction system was designed in such a way as to maximally adapt the act of breathing.

The design of the second stage of the Flight regulator allowed Apeks specialists to implement the valve blowout adjustment. Thus, breathing is carried out with minimal effort at a wide range of intermediate pressure of the 1st stage.
